Attention!! All WSCA Champ Show Contestants:
• Stalling at the WSCA Champ Show is always a big challenge because of the size of our show. As a direct result and because of the sheer number of contestants, the WSCA has always had a rule that you MUST have, AT A MINIMUM, three people in order to receive a tack stall.
• This year there are a record number of contestants that have sent in stalling with only one or two horses entered and are requesting a tack stall.
• Or there are contestants sending in stalling for horses/contestants that are not qualified. It is assumed this manuver is to get the tack stall because if you have not already qualified, you cannot enter the show.
IF YOU FALL INTO ONE OF THESE CATEGORIES - YOU WILL NOT BE RECEIVING A TACK STALL. There are absolutely NO exceptions for any reason.
Refunds will be given 4-6 weeks after the show is over.

IMPORTANT! The following rule will apply to 2010 WSCA qualifying shows. Please make your saddle clubs aware of this new rule.
Qualifying shows must be advertised on the “ON DECK” section of the WSCA web site.
All WSCA Saddle Clubs hosting qualifying shows must be published on the “ON DECK” section of the WSCA web site 7 days before the date of the show, otherwise the show is non-qualifying. If a rain date is needed and the show is rescheduled within 7 days, the show does not need to be republished on the “ON DECK” WSCA web site. If the show is rescheduled after the 7 days of the original show date, the show must be republished on the WSCA web site “ON DECK.”
If the show is hosted by a non-WSCA Saddle Club and has not been placed on the WSCA “ON DECK,” the judge will determine if the show is an Open Show following WSCA rules.
In order for a show to be challenged, a signed letter of complaint must be sent to the Judges Committee prior to the deadline for the MN State Fair &/or WSCA Championship Show. This procedure is in effect for 2010 WSCA Championship Show and 2011 MN State Fair Show.

WSCA MN State Fair Classes
The 2010 MN State Fair Western Horse Show dates are September 3-6, 2010.
The 2010 MN State Fair WSCA class qualifications dates are July 28, 2009 to July 26, 2010.
The State Fair Premium booklets, with entry forms, have been sent out by the MN State Fair Office to the WSCA member clubs. PLEASE NOTE: Page 25, second sentence of the Premium Booklet, under ‘Western Saddle Clubs Association Division’, should read: “No exhibitor may compete for more than one club, except in classes 2603, 2614, 2620, 2621 or 2622.” Ribbon Race, class 2622, was accidentally omitted from this sentence.
An error in the MN State Fair premium book states that no qualifications are required for class 2622, WSCA Ribbon Race. This is incorrect and, indeed, qualifications are required. Some clubs received entry forms with a section to complete for their Ribbon Race qualifications. However, some clubs received a slightly different form with no section to include the Ribbon Race qualifications. If you intend to enter Ribbon Race at the MN State Fair and have an entry form that does not have a section for the appropriate qualification, please include and additional piece of paper with the qualification information on it when you send your entry in to the MN State Fair Office.
The qualification dates listed in the MN State Fair premium book state the incorrect year. They should say: “Horse and rider shall have won first place in a like class at a WSCA approved show after July 21, 2009.”
*IMPORTANT*: The club membership lists must have been submitted directly to WSCA online by the member clubs by May 31st. After that deadline, there is a late membership procedure. Contact the WSCA Executive Secretary to find out more about the late membership procedure. The late membership procedure will allow a club to add members to the club membership so that they will be eligible for the WSCA Championship Show. Adding members through the late membership process WILL NOT allow clubs to have those late members be eligible for that year’s WSCA classes at the MN State Fair. The club membership lists are submitted directly to the State Fair Office shortly after the May 31st deadline. The State Fair Office does not allow any additions to the list that WSCA has on file at that time. Therefore, it is very important that the clubs have ensured the accuracy of their membership lists by May 31st for their members interested in showing at the MN State Fair.
*IMPORTANT*: The qualifications listed for each entry on the State Fair entry form (WSCA classes) must be an accurate qualification. If the qualification is not a valid or accurate qualification to match the entry, the entry will be null and void. This means that the entrant will not be allowed to change the information on the entry form nor be entered in the class involving an invalid or inaccurate qualification. Questions on this should be directed to the WSCA Secretary.
